Thumble support

Need a hand? Email [email protected]. Include your WoW client, ConsolePort version, phone model, macOS version, Thumble version and a short description of what happened. Do not include passwords, authentication tokens or payment details.

Get connected

  1. Download Thumble Receiver for macOS 15 or later. Apple silicon and Intel are supported.
  2. Drag the receiver from the DMG into Applications and open it. Quit older receivers so only one is running.
  3. Connect your phone and Mac to the same local network and scan a fresh pairing code from the phone app. Allow local-network access when asked.

Demo and Pro

The demo includes every feature for 30 minutes total of connected controller use across sessions. Setup, local practice, menus and time spent paused or disconnected do not consume the allowance. Pro removes the time limit for a one-time $19.99 USD purchase in the phone app. Local prices may vary.

If you already purchased Pro, open Pro in the phone app and choose Restore Purchases with the same store account. Connect to the internet and pair your Mac so verified access can be delivered to the receiver. Apple and Android purchases are separate.

Apple handles iOS billing and refund requests through Report a Problem. For purchase trouble, tell us what the app displays; do not send your card details.

Install or update the Thumble addon

In the CurseForge app, choose World of Warcraft and your exact client installation, then search Get More Addons for Thumble (project 1763832). Install its matching release when available and enable Thumble alongside ConsolePort at character selection. Follow the complete addon installation guide.

Thumble 0.1.1 is awaiting approval and initially targets Classic Era 1.15.9. If it is missing from search, it may not be approved or available for your client yet. You can continue with ConsolePort. For gamepad recovery, use /thumble discovery to inspect status; recovery waits for neutral controls and the end of combat.

WoW controls and chat

If pairing works but WoW does not respond, check that the controller is resumed, demo time or Pro access is available, and ConsolePort is enabled for the exact WoW client you launched. Follow the five in-game checks. Offline practice checks the phone controls, not WoW input.

For an unexpected action, check the current character’s ConsolePort bindings and modifier layers. For reversed camera movement, open Stick calibration in the Thumble menu. AI layout generation is currently disabled; the built-in ConsolePort controller needs no agent or cloud account.

If dictation is unavailable, check microphone/speech permissions and language support, or type your message instead. Review the transcript before sending.
